College Changes People?
Recently, I have been confronted by the accusation that "College changed me". How does this even begin to be accurate? College doesn't change people; people simply change through different phases of their lives. Merely attending a school did not change me, the change of environment changed me. Leaving home changes people when they are faced with a new environment and more responsibilities. I mean, do you really think that people stay the same forever? Use your head. I have changed, but for the better! High school drama is part of the past..now I just find it hilarious. Just because I have changed gives you no right to say negative things! Accept that people change, and believe me, there will be many changes in the near future! :)
Homosexuality
How can a person's pre-determined sexuality cause so much conflict in today's society? People are naturally scared of change. They do not want to see a world where homosexuals and heterosexuals live in harmony. Their minds have been taken over by the Christians of the world into believing that God dislikes the acts of homosexuality. However, how can a loving God hate his creations? Truth is, he doesn't. Also, the Bible was written by men. God did not control how the men that wrote it stated things, and who knows..most of it could have been based on their own opinions! Homosexuals are not out to corrupt today's world..they are simply out for acceptance. They only wish to be treated with equality and allowed to love the way everyone else does without discrimination. Who is society to tell them they can't?
